Before having our two daughters, I taught in the New York and Brookfield Public Schools. I've taught both in private schools and in private settings, as well as homeschooled our girls through high school. I've acted privately as an educational and curriculum consultant, supporting students in reaching academic excellence.
With Northeast Prep, I'm looking forward to helping students and families in achieving their goals. Education has always played a central role in our family's life. My husband has been a professor of forensic science and a forensic scientist in Westchester County for the past 20 years. My youngest daughter has just completed her first year of high school as a homeschooler, and I am excited to be starting Northeast Prep with my older daughter who will be graduating from UCONN's School of Education and Business School.
I will be graduating from UCONN's Neag School of Education Integrated Bachelor's/Master's program and UCONN School of Business. While in high school I was a certified AP instructor, completed 13 Advanced Placement courses with a score of a 4 or 5 and served as a AP Teaching Assistant for several professors with an online provider. I was granted a National AP Scholar Award. I've taught ballet to students ranging from preschool to college and am the director of UCONN's first ballet company, University Ballet Company.
I am looking forward to helping other students and their families!
